Studies said that CREATING makes us more happier than consuming; and therefore makes us more beautiful. πŸ™‚ (I kinda just made this up.)

Last Saturday (Feb. 3, 2018) was the first workshop session of Ganchillo at the Azotea, organized by Casa Gorordo.
Sarah Palmares, the crafter behind Crochets by Tomatofire, led the workshop though she wanted to be described more of as a friend who just want to share her love for crochet.

I, being inlove with crochet, was so happy to be invited to assist the workshop (I hope I was useful though.). There are just so many things I love about crochet or knitting, but I’ll spare you from my boring sentiments. =) So I was just so giddy to see other people trying to make their first (or not so first) chains, single crochet, double crochet, to granny square. I wish it sparked some thing inside of them / us that will inspire us to create more out of life (not necessarily just in crochet though). =)

Another crocheter, Bernadette Dy of Hoopaholic Cebu, also joined to assist in the workshop.

Here are few photos from the Ganchillo at the AZOTEA:

Please join us in the upcoming Ganchillo at the Azotea crochet workshop sessions in Casa Gorordo. And, hopefully, we can work on more creative activities the whole year round. Because makers / creators are beautiful!

The cozy Azotea is waiting for you!
